These folks are experts in their fields, and we're grateful for their support and commitment to the health and safety of both our gnomes and clients in regards to COVID-19.

What is the difference between an initial cleaning visit and a regular cleaning visit?

A first time visit will usually require more time and more gnome power to get your space ready for ongoing gnome visits.
 
Our first visit to a space is typically longer in duration than recurring visits and are estimated as a range of time. This allows for a thorough clean before we begin shorter ongoing visits. We'll get to as much as we can and if we finish early we will simply leave. Either way, you'll only be invoiced for the time spent in your space.

How do I schedule my first visit?

Setting up your fist visit is easy! Just fill out our contact form so we can learn more about your space and your needs and begin our communication and coordination of your gnome visit. After this, we will promptly reach out back to you to schedule a consultation, give you an estimate and also schedule your first visit. 
 
If for any reason you are crunched for time and don't have time for a consultation, we can still provide an estimate and schedule your visit using the information you provided in our contact form.

Do you offer a service quality guarantee?

Yes! Our goal at Tidy Gnomes is to bring ease and happiness to your life. If for any reason we ever happen to miss anything or if you are unhappy with our visit, please, let us know and we will gladly come back and fix it free of charge.

How do the gnomes know what to do in my house? How do you keep track and organize all of the information I share with you?

We build a client profile for each space that we visit. No two spaces are alike and we use your client profile to create a tailored service for each of your visits.
 
Here, we  add all the details you shared with us and all the information we need to make sure we are not missing anything in your space. For example: Your preferences, entry instructions, pet information, layout of your house, what you are wanting to get done in each room, what to pay extra attention to or what to skip, etc.
 
Our goal is for us to have all the information that we need to make sure that we are offering a high quality, detailed and consisting service.

Do You guarantee a day and time for my gnome visit?

Accepted Answer

The way our scheduling works is the following - We talk to you and together, we coordinate a date and time that works for you. After this, the plan will be for us to show up at that same day and time for every visit. If for any reason that ever needs to change, we are happy to make a new plan with you.
 
Your visit will be in the schedule to offer you consistency and so you know when to expect us.

Do you send the same gnome or different gnomes to my house for each visit?

Our ideal situation at Tidy Gnomes is to build a relationship with you and your space. For this reason, having the same gnome do your visits, rather than a different one each time, allows for us to get used to your space and provide a more consisting service. This is helpful for us and we also think that this is helpful for you and your space.
 
Sometimes, it is inevitable for a different gnome to visit your space for different reasons: change of schedules, gnome moving on to other things or change of visit, however, our goal is to assign the same gnome to your house as much as possible.

What scheduling options do you offer for gnome visits?

Accepted Answer

Our gnome visits can look many ways: One-time, weekly (every week), biweekly (every 2 weeks), monthly (every 4 weeks), move -in/move-out. If this typical rhythms don't make sense for what you are looking for, we are also happy to schedule periodic visits. Just let us know what you are thinking of and we will make a plan together to figure out what fits your needs best.

Do I need to provide housecleaning supplies and equipment?

Accepted Answer

We provide and bring the eco-friendly housecleaning supplies and tools necessary to do our gnome magic except for toilet brushes. This would be the only thing you would need to provide for your gnome.

Question 11

How should I pay for my gnome visit?

Accepted Answer

Our goal is to offer you a convenient way to pay for your visit. After each visit, we will send an invoice to your email. You can either pay this invoice online or mail a check to our gnome headquarters. You will not be leaving payment for the visit at your place for each visit.

Question 12

How do I tip the gnomes?

Accepted Answer

You can always leave cash/gifts/checks at your place for your gnome to collect themselves. You can also use Venmo/cash app or you can add a tip to your invoice.  Thank you!

Do I have to pay for the initial consultation?

Accepted Answer

Never! Our Gnome consultations are always free of charge. All we want is to hear from you and learn more about what you are dreaming of for your gnome visits.
